This Page describes a trial forum which is still open for use although I am not myself planning to post any further entries as it did not receive much use. In its place I have set up a Blog so that people can make comments on all news entries from now on.

I am extending the trial of a forum, for use by members of the Micro Hydro Association only, to raise and answer questions and to discuss current issues. To join the trial please see the invitation below and sign up using the link provided.

Dear all
I have been wondering if we can have a more useful space on the web for discussion about the various topics that some members have been agonizing over by email to date.
As a trial, I have set up this free forum for use by members of the Micro Hydro Association only. The aim is to allow members to raise and answer questions and to discuss current issues amongst ourselves. I have set up a small number of topics – please add more as you think fit (but not too many!).
You can sign up here: http://micro-hydro-association.socialgo.com/sign_up.html. Please add this link to your bookmarks and where you are interested in a topic, use the “Watch Topic” button to receive emails when posts are made.
Please also let me know if you think this can be a useful addition to the mha. And please try using it. It should be fairly intuitive to use, but if you have any difficulty or suggestions for improvement, please contact me and I will try to simplify it. As this is a free version of the “Socialgo” service, we are somewhat restricted as to frills, and there are restrictions to 1GB storage and 350 participants, so please do not put up too many large pictures or videos on this site (I have also free space on the mha site of up to 500MB).
If this works OK for us I will relax the controls so that anyone who signs up will be in a position to invite others to become participants, whether or not they are existing mha members.
