Simplifying regulation of micro hydro

This page will be used for drafting and commenting on a paper(s) setting out a case for local generation of electricity using small-scale hydropower where suitable watercourses exist in the UK.

The aim is to use the paper to persuade politicians, government departments, authorities, and regulatory agencies that there are long term benefits to be gained, at low risk and low cost, in encouraging the deployment of micro hydro schemes by simplifying and relaxing regulatory constraints.

We will be asking all members of the mha and others with an interest in micro hydro to respond to a poll
