WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) is finalising Defra’s ‘Rural Community Renewable Energy Fund’ re-launch and taking expressions of interest. It is a mixture of a grant of up to £20,000 to undertake feasibility work and up to £130,000 loan for planning work. The fund is to support Community renewable energy projects, in rural areas in England, with populations of less than 5,000 people.
